World leaders have been meeting to discuss the global financial crisis. It seems that in spite of all the experts at their disposal, there is little they can do to change things for the better.
The Apostle Paul tells us not to worry about anything, but to put our faith in God: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God....will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:6)
Whatever happens globally, we can be assured that God will be with us and protect us. We have that great certainty in Christ.

At our Sunday@Noon service on Sunday 15th April we continued with our series of Face2Face Encounters by looking at Jesus with his detractors. Our speaker, Gareth Roderick spoke on the sub-heading of 'The Truth Will Set You Free.' You can hear this talk by clicking here.

A new series of Youth Meetings are taking place here at the WGCC under the collective banner of 'J-1.9' and we now have available two talks from their first event. Firstly Daniel Taylor sets the theme for this new youth team with a talk to rally the young people of today to 'Be Strong & Courageous.' This is followed up by a talk given by Micah Adams speaking from the heart on the subject of 'The King & The Fiery Furnace'. Micah is another of our young, up and coming speakers who says of himself that he is the "Non-Sleep Pastor" and when you listen to him speak you will know the reason why!
On April 7th 2012 J 1-9 Presented: Behind Enemy Lines. This took place at The Woodside Baptist Church, Spring Lane, London SE25 4SP ( see publicity on our webpage ).

We have now published some of the photos from our Otford Manor Weekend Away event last year along with an article about what took place over this weekend. A couple of talks recorded of Stuart Price with the ministry given to him to share with us was uploaded and still available to listen to or download. Wise Sayings
After a very long and boring sermon the congregation filed out of the church saying nothing to the preacher. Towards the end of the line was a thoughtful person who always commented on the sermons. "Today your sermon reminded me of the peace and love of God!" The preacher was thrilled. "No-one has ever said anything like that about my preaching before. Tell me why."
"Well - it reminded me of the Peace of God because it passed all understanding and the Love of God because it endured forever!"
